Event Manager - Incentive Travel - Oxfordshire
£30,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience
We're looking for an experienced, Event Manager to join a successful marketing and events agency near Oxford. The ideal candidate will have already had some experience in a similar environment.
This agency are world class at creating marketing communications programmes that enhance performance, engage employees and build loyalty. They implement employee engagement programmes for some of the UK's biggest companies in Telcos, Automotive and Technology. Many of the programmes they offer include an event or travel element.
They are 25 people strong, very well established and able to offer their clients a range of services including live communication, incentive travel events and online reward systems.
Reporting to the MD of Events this is a fast-paced role managing a small team of events execs.
The clients are all well-known corporates primarily in the automotive, telcos & tech sectors. The incentives & luxury travel projects are generally tailor-made "experiences" held around the world for high performing staff that have hit or exceeded targets.
The role will include staff management, client relationship development & client servicing, pitching & proposals (in response to new briefs coming in primarily from existing clients), strategy, concept design, project management and operational delivery of the corporate incentives & luxury travel projects, account management and departmental financial management. The role will involve some business development & reactive sales aspects but this will be working alongside the Sales & Business Development teams.
You'll be an experienced Travel & Events specialist with a minimum of 3 + years' in the experiential events, incentives and luxury travel sectors. Ideally you'll have an agency background but this is not essential!
You must have worked on international events and be adept at managing budgets. A broad ranging background of planning and project management is essential.
