The Account Manager role

The role is for an experienced Account Manager with the headroom to move up to Account Director.

The first is one of the UK’s largest charity accounts where the agency takes the strategic and creative lead.

Unfortunately, their funding programmes have started to suffer a decline over recent years due to the fierce competitiveness of the sector they operate in.   With their need to constantly stay ahead and experiment, the charity has appointed the agency to inject new thinking and innovative ideas in order to unlock new income streams across product innovation and brand response advertising.

The Account Manager will be part of a team leading the charge and putting the charity back into its leadership position and helping the account to get its mojo back.

This is a great opportunity for the Account Manager to help this prestigious charity reclaim its market-leading status amongst lesser-known rivals but it needs an Account Manager with the drive, enthusiasm, intelligence and creative thinking to help them do it. 

The Account Manager will be reporting into a senior Account Director and will be part of a fantastic agency team that offers great mentoring.  Employing all the marketing touchpoints, the client is about to launch a big new above the line campaign to include TV and spin off into digital and social media.

The second account is a new snack win.  This is a brand that likes to play around and have fun.  They are planning a relaunch so the scene is set for the Account Manager to touch some terrific creative as there are fantastic ideas being put forward.  There will be exciting TV and innovative digital and new media.

This is an opportunity for the Account Manager to strut their stuff and show what they are made of as there is a senior reporting line.  The agency is good at career progression and is quick to spot and promote talent.
