The opportunity here is very different to others at the same level across the UK's typical media agencies and the reason for that is the integration with creative. In fact, they are not even a media agency at all, they are a future focused full-service agency, that grew out of an idea created by the management team.
Now, the management team here come from a variety of agencies, all the way from Leo Burnett all the way through to Dentsu Aegis and everything in between. 2017 & 2018 were the years to build the foundations of their offering, with a deep heritage in creative, it was integral that they found the right balance when it came to becoming a full service and here we are today, their next integral hire to continue that journey.
Forget separated media & creative planning, this role is all about being the digital media & performance expert, creating innovative solutions across all digital channels including, Display, Paid Social, Mobile, Video, PPC etc. However, they want someone who wants to collaborate with the creative strategists & really create concepts that work.
For example, every brief that comes in, you'll be involved with, sitting in a war room with brand strategists, art directors, creatives to collaborate effectively and give your say on how digital tie's into the strategy.
It reports directly into the Head of Media, and they are looking for someone to help them grow & build this team/division of the business. It's all about taking the "digital" conversation with their clients to a new level, helping them understand media planning better and connecting the dots when it comes to experimentation with new channels & ideas.
Clients come in all shapes and sizes at this agency, with budgets ranging from £1m to £25m, giving you the best possible opportunity to showcase how good you really are.
