Forming a crucial cog in the marketing wheel of Haymarket’s growing Content Labs team, no one day will be the same in this exciting role. Assisting the head of marketing and marketing managers, you’ll be at the heart of driving marketing campaigns for a variety of commercial content including bespoke events, webinars, expert reports and surveys across our diverse B2B brands including Campaign, C&IT, Third Sector, People Management and more.

You'll need to be able to turn your hand to a multitude of tasks including:

  • assisting with the planning and implementation of multi-channel marketing campaigns for our clients’ campaigns which run across a number of Haymarket Business Media brands including Campaign, People Management, Event, PRWeek, C&IT, Third Sector and Supply Management
  • writing and proofing effective marketing copy spanning channels such as email, social, display and native ads
  • managing and tracking email campaigns from start to finish
  • creating and managing native advertising activity across Haymarket’s websites and bulletins
  • effectively using social media channels from LinkedIn through to Twitter and Facebook to grow and engage with our audience
  • creating and monitoring PPC ads across social platforms
  • making best use of a multi-sector customer marketing database
  • conducting email and channel analysis to help inform and streamline the effectiveness of our campaigns and products
  • collating and sending detailed reports to project managers for our clients
  • helping to create and maintain user friendly websites
  • contributing innovative ideas to improve and grow our portfolio

The ideal candidate will:

  • some marketing experience in a related field preferred, though not essential
  • have excellent communication skills, both in writing and speech
  • be able to multi-task effectively and work well under pressure
  • be well organised and have acute attention to detail
  • be motivated and a real self-starter
  • use own initiative and be creative with the ability to think outside the box in terms of taking our products to our audiences
  • be excellent at meeting deadlines and targets
  • be ambitious and eager to develop their career in marketing
  • be excellent at dealing with people at all levels, both internally and externally
