Job Title: Customer Experience - Lead UX designer

Reporting to: Head of CX
Base Salary: £40k - £50k
Overview of the role: Digital Design role with a UX focus and an understanding of UI, the role sits in the customer experience team of a sizeable online training business.
This role is well suited to a candidate who has proven ability in creating & honing briefs, has a knowledge of wireframing, possess solid project management experience, comfortable with managing a small team (currently one Jr. Researcher but will shortly include 2 Wireframing Specialists), also possess excellent interpersonal & influencing skills and commercial awareness.

Duties & Responsibilities - fast paced environment:
*Growing the organisation's UX maturity and embed user-centric processes
*Directly manage and coordinate with a UX Researcher to gain qualitative and quantitative user insights for a diverse set of audiences across B2C and B2B.
*Meeting with clients and stakeholders across the organisation to gather requirements and facilitate an evidence-led, collaborative design process. Set up meetings to present, discuss and review design progress.
*Lead the creation of user personas, user journeys, and information architecture plans.
*Catalogue KPIs and track their progress.
*Create wireframes and prototypes using Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, or similar.
*Handover wireframes and function specs to UI Designers precisely and effectively.

The Candidate:
*Proven problem solving skills
*Excellent interpersonal skills including influencing at senior level
*Proven experience in Prodesign and usability principles
*An open and adaptable mindset to manage rapidly changing tasks and projects.
*Ability to align project stakeholders on issues of audience, challenge, and solutions.
*Proven ability in working under time pressure and meeting deadlines.
*Ability to work in a collaborative environment with various teams

*Knowledge of front-end code
*Experience using JIRA project management software
