Our comfortable studio is only about 50 metres from the train station in Basingstoke town centre with free parking. Your time will be split between client meetings offsite, and days in the office, but we are happy for you to work from home to make your life easier.

The Account Manager Role

We are looking for a motivated, experienced and enthusiastic Account Manager to join our friendly, fast-paced and ambitious creative agency, working with a team of digital experts, creatives and developers to help us solve problems for clients and create positive outcomes. 

The role will require you to have come from a Design Agency background, and have experience of delivering tactical campaigns successfully across multiple channels. You’ll have a strong understanding of web development and Digital Marketing, but also have worked with clients to deliver Branding and Print Campaigns.

As an Account Manager, you will be focusing on key areas such as acquisition, and retention of customers, as well as profitability within your customer portfolio. You will be required to drive excellent customer care by constantly reviewing and developing relationships with your customers. 

Day to day, your responsibilities will include taking client briefs, upfront quoting, relevant budget allocations and time tracking, reporting, and final client invoicing. 

Account Manager Responsibilities:

+ Acquisition of new business, as well as building current client portfolios
+ Build and maintain relationships with clients often through regular face to face contact and meetings
+ Act as the first point of contact for client questions and requests
+ Talk to the studio in order to facilitate client requests
+ Identify new client opportunities and make pitches to potential new clients
+ Manage a budget and achieve targets
+ Generate accurate reports on the status of existing accounts and new business

You will be comfortable working across a portfolio of accounts and will be able to provide outstanding client service and project management, helping to improve processes and systems as the business grows

You can recognise great ideas and can create the opportunities for these to be delivered in the most appropriate and successful way possible. You're a commercially minded thinker and doer, with the people skills to encourage and connect with your peers

Have the ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines. You must be proactive, self-motivated and driven, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy

Able to grasp, translate and communicate a brand's vision

You’ll have multi-tasking ability and excellent organisational, negotiation and interpersonal communication skills

Proficient in MS Office or Google Docs

What we’re looking for:

The right person will have at least 3-5 years of professional experience in a similar role, having worked previously in an agency environment, with proven Account Management and organisational abilities, coupled with strong attention to detail. You'll be someone who can multi-task and juggle a wide range of tasks happening at once.

A great team player, someone with a positive attitude who likes a challenge and isn't afraid to roll their sleeves up and get on with the job!
