Job Title: Stakeholder Manager - Rail, permanent position
Business: Public Sector - Transport & Rail
Salary: Up to £48,690 per annum, pension, salary sacrifice benefits access, travel pass purchase scheme , 27 days holidays p.a.
The objective of the role is to lead the development & delivery of an integrated Engagement & Communications Strategy. You will be leading the development and delivery of Stakeholder Engagement, Media Relations and Communication Service and Strategy to support the main key programme across public sector organisations. You will be responsible for meeting the programme's objectives and enhancing the reputation of the public sector organisations/stakeholder.
To be successful in the role it will involve successfully multi-tasking across strategy & planning, people management, stakeholder management, project management and financial management.
Proven ability to providing leadership/specialist advice to stakeholders & partners
Extensive experience of managing engagement & communications strategies
Excellent interpersonal, influencing & negotiating skills
First class verbal & written skills with the ability to produce reports & presentations using raw data
Proven experience in translating complicated issues into appropriate formats for target audiences
Education & Background:
Educated to Degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject, with previous experience within a political environment and will have experience of managing a team of leading specialist consultants.
