Demand Manager – SEO / PPC
Our client is looking for an SEO expert to join their demand team and work across a selection of key accounts, merging paid search and social media account optimisation with SEO; but this role is so much more than that.
First - about the agency…
Digital-first, cutting-edge, award-winning and fast-growing. They’re involved in all aspects of search and have been driving traffic, creating content and delivering conversions for their clients for over ten years.
Why is this role so special?
Put simply (and without exaggeration), this is a career-changing opportunity for the right candidate. It’s a chance to start the first steps towards a leadership role within a Demand Team that has grown in-line with the agency. The successful candidate will bring their existing knowledge of search, to which they can add planning and strategy responsibilities across the agency’s retained clients. In addition, the right candidate will ultimately be given the chance to step into a leadership role.
Working closely with the Director of Demand, the role is integral to the optimisation and project delivery process. Working across client consultation, data analysis, keyword search and content strategy delivery, the role is both strategic SEO and account lead. It drives SEO and PPC strategy, requires strong client-relationship management and the ability to deliver day to day project and retainer tasks.
Who is it for?
Cultural fit is important, of course, as is strength of character, technical knowledge and the ambition to step up into a senior management position. Core experience is necessary, and our client is looking for at least 3 years’ SEO / PPC either with client or agency. Knowledge of search tools and demonstrable understanding of how and when to apply them is a must, as are leadership skills, subject-matter expertise and a desire to continue to remain at the forefront of Search. An interest in up-to-date SEO trends and experience with martech systems and applications is desirable.
For the right candidate, our client is offering a competitive salary up to £45k p/a.
