Head of Digital - martech agency
Our client is a leading martech business that specialises in digital personalisation within the B2B environment.
With their award winning SaaS technology they are able to personalise any B2B website, ensuring that content is tailored to each audience and delivers vastly superior return on engagement.
Established only three years ago this business has taken the market by storm and currently working with some of the biggest as well as bespoke brands in the world. Delivering unbelievable results for their clients.
It's due to this rapid success that our client is now seeking a confident Head of Digital to join the business at leadership level and be the lynch pin between the client and the support team behind you. Plus you can come from either client side or agency. Its about your knowledge and skills rather than your background.
You will work directly with their client portfolio to review their website strategy and devise recommendations to improve website conversion rates as well as produce and present findings and recommendations to senior client stakeholders.
As this is a leadership role, you will need to have your finger on the pulse of the latest martech solutions, have in-depth understanding on website design and engagement within the B2B environment as well as be extremely comfortable presenting.
This role will see you as one of the faces of the business. So you must be confident attending and speaking at events, inspiring businesses as well as your teams.
Obviously you won’t need to have experience with this particular software as training will be provided upon appointment. However, it would be advantageous if you have working knowledge and experience with other automation software solutions and SaaS products.
When it comes to research you must be able to adapt to different industries, researching different keywords and themes, website traffic and SEO reach.
To give you a snapshot of some of the key skills required please see below:
- Experience of working at a senior level in the field of digital marketing, website design and conversion rate optimisation
- Solid understanding of conversion rate optimisation and website personalisation
- In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Moz etc)
- Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM
- Experience of presenting face to face and in written form to senior stakeholders
- Experience of speaking and curating content
- Well versed at a senior level, with an understanding of SaaS business models

In return of your experience as Head of Digital our client offers a broad salary banding so not to alienate mid-level talent. With this in mind we are able to offer a salary banding between £55-85k plus benefits.
