This role will be working for an agency who are a social and content specialist. They've been going for 10 years, working with some of the biggest brands in the world. They have a great relationship with a leading automotive brand, and have currently seconded 12 people from their agency team into the brand. They are looking to strengthen this, and need a Senior Social Media Analyst who is keen to work directly in the clients offices. You'll be paid by the agency, and work for the agency, but you'll work in-house at this leading, global automotive brand. We are looking for a smart, ambitious and client facing Senior Social Media Analyst.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Social Media Analyst to join the team working full time for this brand who are based in Surry. The Social Media Analyst will join an already established social media insights team conducting social media research and developing reports and insights for this leading brand.
The Social Media Analyst will focus on social media monitoring, research reporting and analysis. Additionally, the Social Media Analyst will oversee paid campaign management, presentations to senior management and software vendor management.
The Social Media Analyst will also manage a junior member of the team.
The Senior Social Media Analyst's duties will include:
- Social Media listening support across the clients
- Development of meaningful and applicable insights.
- Strategic evaluation of social media footprint, that of competitors, and analysis of competitive market position
- Audit of influential individuals and groups around a specific topic online. Identification of influencers for inclusion in influencer programmes
- Online conversation analysis to reveal actionable consumer insights around a topic or group of topics to assess strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats
- Campaign tracking and evaluation - providing insights for campaign optimization
- Crisis monitoring including influencer identification, and response planning to ensure preparedness in the event of a crisis
- Team and stakeholder management
We are looking for a social media analyst, or media analyst, perhaps even a comms strategist with plenty (3 years +) of first-hand experience with social media data. The social media analyst may be someone who has worked at an analytics company or a social media tool/software company. The social media analyst must be able to demonstrate, with examples, their ability to manage data and to develop actionable insights.
The social media analyst should be skilled at gathering data together, working it into a manageable form, and developing reports and presentations for teams. Selling in insight is a highly skilled job so the social media analyst will be a very able communicator.
You will be a social media analyst with several years’ experience within the social media (or media) analytics and you will be an excellent communicator with a track record of delivering both positive and negative analytical insight to senior stakeholders. The social media analyst should have several year’s experience working across social media monitoring tools, such as Synthesio, Sysomos, Brandwatch, Crimson Hexagon - any of the big players. You will be a social media analyst who has a proven ability to work with a range of team members and external clients.
You will be a social media analyst who has a deep understanding of the research, analytical and social media industry.
