Experience required

  • Experience working in a business development / marketing capacity at either a design, branding or integrated agency or client side
  • Will suit someone who has been a New Business Manager for 4-5 years who is looking for their next career move
  • Must fully understand design and design process and be able to speak with authority at senior level
  • Experience and proven track record of identifying and creating a business development target list
  • Experience applying relevant techniques to make contact and develop relationships at senior level - through thought pieces, cold calling, attending conferences and networking
  • Have experience running a marketing plan alongside developing new business
  • Be a confident communicator, a team player possess enthusiasm, imagination and energy
  • Be motivated, ambitious, proactive, bright and organised
  • And … unflappable and resourceful!

The job

  • Play an instrumental role in developing the new business and marketing strategy with the Founders full support
  • Identify future value opportunities within identified sectors and markets
  • Identify the best way to approach key targets agreed and apply relevant techniques to make contact and develop relationships at senior level - through though pieces, cold calling, attending conferences and networking
  • Engage, energise and organise the business behind a compelling sales and marketing campaign strategy, drawing on and leveraging the expertise within the agency and its key shareholders
  • Be results orientated and to keep the new business pipeline moving forward
  • Raise the profile and awareness of agency and its positioning by creating strategic and creative opportunities for the business
