A fantastic role for a Senior Account Manager/Client Director with experience in content distribution.

Our client is  is a global leader in news and factual content, channels and content distribution with offices in the US, UK, Europe and Asia.
They design, build and manage digital platforms to distribute the content of global brands including Adidas, Lamborghini and Porsche 
They also provide those brands with strategic consultancy, editorial and production support, media relations and live coverage at major events and launches.

Upselling is a key element of this role and there is a commission element in the remuneration package for this role.

The Senior Account Manager will manage their own accounts and will also provide leadership within the client services team. That team exists to ensure clients:
• receive products and service of the highest possible standard in a timely and professional manner
• renew service and licence contracts
• make maximum possible use of the full range of products and services appropriate to their need

The Senior Account Manager will:
• understand every link in the product value chain and have a close working relationship with the teams which sell, design, build and deliver our products and services
• develop an intimate knowledge of the brands we serve including their values, priorities, commercial requirements and operational needs

Key responsibilities
• Day-to-day account management of your own “book” of clients
• Development and implementation of client retention and client development plans for each client
• Oversight of content publishing and your clients’ online newsrooms
• Provision of monthly and on-demand reports for clients
• A detailed knowledge of client contracts and SLAs
• Timely contract renewals in conjunction with the relevant sales person
• Maximising upsells in conjunction with the product, production, editorial and sales teams
• Project management of product roll-outs, production and services to your clients
• Developing or contributing to pitch documents, sales materials and marketing materials
• A good working knowledge of the CMS and “back end” of the platforms
• Track client news relevant to relationship and brief colleagues and managers across the company as appropriate
• Use your skills and experience on projects across the Group as necessary

Essential skills and experience
• A minimum of 6 years’ experience in client facing roles within a competitor environment
• A track record of working with senior clients at enterprise brands
• Strong knowledge of the PR industry
• Team management
• Project management
• A good knowledge of broadcast and online production
• High level of proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Analytics and Salesforce
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Language/s an advantage
