Marketing, Communications and Engagement

With thousands of new homes and jobs in the pipeline, local residents and businesses are at the heart of all our plans. Join us to develop what we believe is one of the most forward-thinking approaches to marketing, communications and engagement in the industry. You’ll work collaboratively with local people and businesses, develop innovative ways to spread the word and share the stories that the Royal Docks has to tell. You’ll also help us to attract interest and visitors to this exciting part of London.

The opportunity

Use your expertise in multi-channel digital marketing to raise the profile of the Royal Docks as a unique place to live, work and visit. You’ll take the lead on developing digital platforms and channels, ensuring they integrate with wider marketing campaigns. Expect day-to-day involvement in the Royal Docks social media presence: researching, creating and publishing content, as well as engaging with users. You will manage creative agencies and the delivery of digital engagement products and tools, developing digital tactics as well as reporting on performance.

The person

You’ll bring experience of developing and implementing ambitious, high performing multi-channel digital strategies. This will include extensive experience of applying user-centric approaches through data analytics, user research and other sources of intelligence and insight. You’ll have a track record of growing audiences, both organically and using paid media, and delivering content strategies that drive engagement.  Experience of running procurement processes and managing agencies and freelancers is key. A good understanding of regeneration and place-making is also important.
