Communications Manager - Up to £51,769 pro rata - 12 month contract - London

THE ROLE
In the role of Communications Manager you will be responsible for developing and delivering an integrated communications and engagement plan for a really exciting project - the development of a new research institute. You will be targeting a diverse range of stakeholder groups from academics and staff to architects and construction partners. The aim of the project will be to provide communications support for the development of a new, state of the art institute.

You will be expected to deliver a range of communications and content from events and printed collateral to digital (websites, content) as well as branding. You will work alongside the central communications team, ensuring that your comms strategy is in line with the university's overall direction. In addition you will be responsible for developing communications to drive fundraising support and partnerships.

Extensive stakeholder management experience is key to this role - you will be expected to liaise and collaborate with and influence a diverse range of audiences, both internal and external.


YOU
In order to be successfully considered for the role of Communications Manager, you will need:
- prior experience in developing communications, PR or marketing for large infrastructure/development projects or for within the scientific/research community
- a proven background in integrated communications and content development for a range of on and offline channels including brand, digital, social, CRM
- extensive stakeholder management experience including external suppliers/partners as well as multiple internal audience groups
- to be CIM or IPA qualified or substantial demonstrated experience in the theory of demand-based marketing and communications
