Digital Project Manager and Content Manager - Up to £33,000 - London

THE COMPANY
Our client is a much loved and admired national charity that helps a broad community through emotional and financial support as well as representation in society.

THE ROLE
This is a hybrid role of digital PM/producer AND content generator and web manager AND web analytics and reporting. We have worked with the organisation and placed a number of the team who LOVE working there. It's a good place to be!

Your role will be to support the Digital Operations Manager working in a growing digital team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day development, delivery and maintenance of the organisation's digital products, platforms and services and the briefing and planning of digital work.

Specifically:

· Project manage regular content audits and rewrites based on analytics and user insights and to support campaigns and overall development plans for the organisation's digital channels.

· Work with the digital content team to source, develop and edit written and multimedia content for publication to the Legion's digital platform and associated channels, ensuring we remain audience-focused and apply the brand's tone of voice and brand consistently across our digital estate.

· Write and edit copy for a digital audience, optimising content for search engine performance and to enhance user experience.

· Manage technical updates and developments, including regular reviews, user testing and liaising with internal technical teams and agency partners to optimise digital performance.

· Monitor and report on analytics using relevant online tools. In particular, ensuring that correct codes and tags are in place for tracking usage and performance, and reporting on the effectiveness of published content in delivering key performance indicators.

· Work with Digital Operations Manager and Digital Content team to establish a network of content providers; including providing appropriate training, guidance and support.

· Keep up-to-date with new digital developments and research opportunities for the organisation where appropriate.

YOU
You will be a values-driven person with interest, advocacy and belief in the purpose of a British organisation that has been set up in support of an important sector of society.

You will have a few years proven experience in a digital PM/production role and a genuine passion for new digital technology. The organisation has already made great strides in it's digital platforms and communications and continues with an ambitious focus.

You should have a PM qualification in Agile or Prince 2 and be a methodical and adaptable person as you will be working with business as usual amends/updates and large scale projects involving multiple stakeholders.

Part of your role will be both contributing to and planning editorial content (also working with external contributors) and you will be involved in updating and amending content. Proven experience of working with a CMS is essential.

Experience working across multiple projects and prioritising work in a busy environment is important.

Solid experience of HTML, CSS, JavaScript is important.

Experience of using Adobe CS6 to produce creative content, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier an advantage.

Understanding of web and mobile UX and accessibility, SEO and analytics is ideal.
