Senior Media Strategy Lead / Head of Performance Planning

This lead, top 10 creative agency is one of the best out there. They work with some of the biggest brands in the world and have the capabilities of delivering everything under one roof in their offices in London. With a global footprint, the agency can deliver creative, digital, social, content, direct response, digital transformation, big budget brand advertising work, and much more! They also have a very strong Media offering, and capabilities to provide complete end to end solutions for their clients. They're also a great bunch of people too, award winners and their new business team is also one of the best in London. 

It's a great time to join, and they're looking to bring on board a Senior Media Strategy Lead / Head of Performance Planning. This person will sit within the media arm of the agency, you'll be a lead Senior Media Director, and you'll also head up the agency's performance division.

The role

They are looking for a Senior Media Strategy Lead / Head of Performance Planning who can help the agency become admired and respected as much for their media thinking and delivery, as they are currently known for their creative excellence. 

As Senior Media Strategy Lead / Head of Performance Planning you will help the agency becomes the ‘next generation’ integrated full service agency model, offering end to end solutions for clients. 

You will be a Senior Media Strategy Lead / Head of Performance Planning who is a highly talented senior communications strategist, someone who has ambition and wants to be an integral part of taking this agency's Media division to the next level.

The Senior Media Strategy Lead / Head of Performance Planning will deliver strong strategic direction for clients, who will be a trusted advisor to CMOs, and who can lead a new business project from start to finish. We also require a Senior Media Strategy Lead / Head of Performance Planning who is an inspirational leader, who can shape our agency product (internally and externally), helping us generate incremental income, and helping to drive the agency’s ambitious marketing plans forward.

The Senior Media Strategy Lead / Head of Performance Planning needs to have a strong digital and data background and credentials, to help complement the existing senior team, who can help future-proof they agency's offering. Ideally, we’d love a Senior Media Strategy Lead / Head of Performance Planning who is a digital evangelist, who can help they agency break new ground.

The Senior Media Strategy Lead / Head of Performance Planning will work closely with the current agency leadership team, to help shape the direction of the business.

The Senior Media Strategy Lead / Head of Performance Planning must have at least 10 years’ experience in communications planning or strategy, preferably working in a media agency environment. The Senior Media Strategy Lead / Head of Performance Planning will be someone who has a strong understanding of consumer behaviour, who can plot a customer journey, and is alert to cultural trends in society.

We’re looking for a Senior Media Strategy Lead / Head of Performance Planning with strong digital and data credentials – but someone who also understands the roles of all paid media channels, and is competent in considering the wider suite of touch points at a planners’ disposal, including owned and earned channels, with an appreciation of the principles of user experience.

The Senior Media Strategy Lead / Head of Performance Planning must demonstrate an understanding of broad concepts in marketing effectiveness, consumer need states, social and cultural anthropology and, ideally, even the basics of psychology.

The Senior Media Strategy Lead / Head of Performance Planning must have their finger on the pulse. We want someone who stays alert to big industry and publisher developments, so the agency is always abreast of innovation and opportunities.

We want a Senior Media Strategy Lead / Head of Performance Planning who is smart and someone who is intuitive, can spot an insight, and can turn it into an opportunity.

You will be a Senior Media Strategy Lead / Head of Performance Planning who is a straight-talker, who doesn’t go in for too much jargon, and can make complicated things seem really simple to understand. But most importantly, we need a clear communicator, who has a point of view, and is capable of telling a great story.
