Reporting into the Head of L&D and being a key partner for the Global L&D team, you will implement L&D solutions that meet the business needs, building strong pro-active working relationships with internal and external customers and be involved in the implementation of key projects.

You will project manage L&D programmes in partnership with the Head of L&D and the L&D Coordinator managing everything from communication deployment / administration, process development and evaluation. As well as developing new material and delivering some programmes. You will also be involved with Ogilvy’s emerging talent programmes including ‘the Ogilvy Apprenticeship scheme’ and ‘The Pipe’.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sourcing and implementing external learning trends and ways of working
  • Strategic partner to the business with the ability to influence, problem solve and facilitate learning needs
  • Supports learning strategy with solutions/planning
  • Supports Head of L&D with initiatives and projects
  • Line managing the L&D Coordinator
  • Delivery of internal knowledge sessions including line manager training & unconscious bias training
  • Management of the L&D budget; tracking, reviewing and forecasting for L&D function
  • Supports with the running of emerging talent programmes, and apprenticeships
  • LMS content curation and promotion
  • Working with, and identifying external partners to organise sessions and initiatives
  • Communicates and engages excellently with colleagues on all things L&D
  • Line manages the L&D Coordinator
  • Facilitating team sessions

Experience & Skills Required:

  • You will have a high energy, be a positive, can-do person who is never satisfied, and is always looking for ways to improve what we do.
  • Experience writing and delivering engaging L&D content
  • Excellent excel capabilities in order to track, measure and report on L&D statistics and measurement of L&D activity
  • Ability to build strong relationships across the business with all stakeholders.
  • You will also be someone who makes things happen and likes to be accountable.
  • Team player, understanding of connection of L&D to the employee journey
  • Experience managing an L&D budget
  • Passionate about L&D
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strategic partner to the business with the ability to influence, problem solve and facilitate learning needs
  • Strong training evaluation capability
  • Strong organisational abilities
  • Experience within professional services is preferred, especially the marketing/communications sector.
  • Experience of partnering with third parties
  • Articulate and confident
  • A self-starter, with an entrepreneurial spirit
