Client Services Manager
Client Services Manager needed with experience in a client facing role dealing with PR Agencies or similar.
Our client is a global leader in news and factual content, channels and content distribution with offices in the US, UK, Europe and Asia.
The Client Services Manager will be part of a global team responsible for the retention, growth and overall success of a number of our key accounts, reporting to the Client Services Director. You’ll be the day-to-day contact for our customers, educating them on best practices and new relevant features, sharing data and insights, enabling them to drive stronger and more engaged customer relationships. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, quickly developing a deep understanding of your client’s business and industry, challenges and opportunities. You’ll need excellent communication skills to build strong relationships, with regular calls, emails and face to face meetings.
Quickly develop a comprehensive knowledge of our products and services, and build close working relationships with teams across DMA which sell, design, build and deliver products and services
Develop an intimate knowledge of clients including their priorities, challenges, commercial requirements and operational needs
Perform regular (weekly, monthly and quarterly) reviews with customers on goals, challenges, insights and opportunities, listening for improved service opportunities
Day-to-day management of your assigned client accounts, building strong relationships and encouraging regular contact
Development and implementation of client retention and client development plans for each client
Creating high quality pitch documents, sales materials and marketing materials and on-demand reports for clients
Ensure timely client contract renewals in conjunction with the relevant sales person
Project management of production and editorial services to your clients
Adhering to established workflows and quality assurance processes in order to meet or exceed SLAs
Identify expansion opportunities with existing accounts - working closely with the sales team to uncover new opportunities at group and brand level. Opening up relationships with new stakeholders, influencers and individual business units.

Be the leading advocate for our products and solutions within the customer organisation, across multiple departments – talking and meeting regularly, not relying on email
Oversight of content publishing on the platform and your clients’ online newsrooms
A detailed knowledge of client contracts and SLAs
Project management of product rollout’s, production and services to your clients
Quickly gain a thorough working knowledge of the CMS and “back end” of the platforms
Track client news relevant to our relationship and brief colleagues and managers across the company as appropriate
Identify customer adoption and usage issues, and collaborate internally to find smart solutions to resolve such issues
Champion on behalf of your customers for improvements and advancement of solutions, and continually drive to innovate the product suite and features
Essential skills and experience
A minimum of two years’ experience in client facing roles at public relations agencies or similar companies
A track record of working with senior clients at enterprise brands
Ability to analyse data and compile high value reports with context
Experience of successful project management
A knowledge of broadcast and online production
A good knowledge of the UK and European media landscape
High level of proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Analytics and Salesforce
A keen interest in news and current affairs
Excellent verbal and written communication
Language/s a great advantage
