They are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team in London. They work with a variety brands ranging from beauty, electronics to FMCG within retail and travel retail environments.Build and maintain a network of potential clientsGenerate introductions and convert to new opportunitiesManage sales and marketing methodology and strategy to maximise productivity
Create a list of potential clients and maintain - community managementAttend trade shows and relevant networking events to make introductions and build professional networkUse LinkedIn and other networking tools to manage and maintain professional networkFollow up all new business opportunities and set up meetings with qualified leads. Including cold calling, messaging and emailing prospective clientsBuild case studies and creds decks, utilising PR materials to provide appropriate collateral for community management and introductions.Attend and lead new business meetings with prospective clientsEvaluate and lead strategic approach to new business development (strategic approach to target list and sales methodology)Oversee the development or marketing literatureIdentify areas of opportunity when interacting with potential clients to tailor our offering and maximise the chance of successWork with the wider team to ensure conversion from opportunity to live project is achieved. (i.e. facilitating creative pitch and/or commercial proposals)Manage the diary of key team members and ensure the correct people are attending meetings, fully prepared.Prepare reports and provide management team with feedbackMeet and exceed all targets set by business
