Corporate PR Assistant
My client is a well-known retailer and distributor of healthcare products and services and is looking for a Corporate PR Assistant to join the growing communications team. A Fortune 500 company, this offers the successful candidate a fantastic opportunity to work within a global business.
The Role: Working closely with the PR Manager and communications team, the PR Assistant will be responsible for planning and implementing PR strategies, writing press releases, blogs, case studies and articles, managing media enquiries and create content plans and schedule social media.
- Manage incoming media enquiries and respond as appropriate
- Write press releases, articles and case studies
- Develop relationships with press contacts and organise events and press conferences
- Write content plans for social media and schedule using Hootsuite
The Candidate: You will ideally have some previous PR and/or communications experience as well as experience of using social media for business. The confidence to deal with media enquiries and internal stakeholders of all levels is essential and whilst a strong attention to detail is important, so too is the ability to work reactively and at pace when needed.
This PR Assistant role is commutable from Coventry, Leamington Spa, Leicester, Rugby, Hinckley, Stratford on Avon, Birmingham
