Senior Content & Creative Services Manager
This Senior Content & Creative Services Manager oversees, guides and manages the development of our content and creative delivery team. Based in London you will ensure that all content and creative themes and direction are aligned to the Marketing Plan and delivering best-in-class output.
Michael Page have teamed up with an independent investment management company that specialises in providing investment management services in the UK and internationally.
The key responsibilities for the Senior Content & Creative Services Manager is understanding the strategic direction of the departmental Marketing Plan and making recommendations for, and then guiding, the delivery of suitable content/thought leadership and creative output
Agree with the Head of Marketing and Senior Channels Manager what content and creative will be required, then actioning and building that, to best-in-class
Content/thought leadership and creative will be developed in this team for all marketing channels. Examples of this may include, but are not limited to:
Websites design and copy
Digital advertising - design and copy
Making recommendations for creative and content themes to the Head of Marketing
Manage the output of the team, workflows and keep to clear timing plans for delivery
Support the delivery by taking on some work themselves. This may be 50% of their time: 'player manager'
Manage the overflow of creative and content development into an external agency, as required and identify where senior creative input (at Creative Director level) is required from that agency, to 'move things up a level'
Establish a robust content/thought leadership calendar, to be agreed with Head of Marketing, that will be used to drive activity on a quarterly basis
Ensure that all content and creative is signed off at conceptual and final stage, by the Head of Marketing
Ensure that governance sign off processes are followed, documented and a clear audit trail established
The successful Senior Content & Creative Services Manager MUST come from a financial services background and have worked as a hands on designer/ copywriter as well as managed.
A creative mind - able to identify themes and ideas and articulate them
Skilled in both writing copy and designing creative
Organise and able to manage team workflows and delivery timescales
Able to be hands on with both creative and writing, as required: for example 50% of the time
Pro-active self-starter with the drive to deliver
Ability to work with internal clients at all levels
Experience in the financial services industry is essential, ideally from within investment and/or wealth management
Supplier management experience essential - especially creative and content agencies/writers
Strong writing and creative development skills
