Head of Marketing and Communications (£33-37,000 35hrs per week)
We are delighted to offer an opportunity to play a vital part on the work and future of the UK's largest students' union. After a period of restructure and development, we're recruiting a Head of Marketing and Communications to build an entirely new marketing function to engage and attract our student audience at a world-leading international university.
We're looking for someone with significant skills and experience in digital marketing with a clear, innovative and ambitious vision of the future of student engagement. This might be your first 'Head of' role, but you'll have substantial experience line managing and recruiting staff to get the best out of them, and be an expert in marketing with strong knowledge of the latest trends and successes in how to engage, promote to and communicate with students. With a strong understanding of current industry best practice you'll be responsible for strategic campaign planning and execution, management of an outstanding Marcomms team, and ultimately the look, feel and output of all our communication channels.
You'll provide expert strategic advice within the Union on how we engage our audiences with our diverse range of student engagement and commercial offers. As a member of our Senior Management Team, you'll play a hands-on role in delivering our ambitions to be a world class place to work that provides excellent value and impact for our students.
