The Digital Designer works with developers, project managers, account strategists and clients to match cutting edge user experience with first class web design. Working as part of a team of talented and driven professionals, you will help guide brands as they grow their online business from strength to strength.
Michael Page have teamed up with a web based agency that design, develop and e-commerce websites for some of the fastest growing brands on the planet. You will be joining a team of 50+ designers, developers, solutions architects, e-comm consultants and marketers - spread across our London and New York offices.
The key responsibilities for the Digital Designer are:
Designing professional e-commerce stores for a diverse range of forward-thinking brands.
Producing wireframes and designs using Figma, Sketch and InVision and communicating directly with clients about your ideas.
Working closely with project/account managers and the development team to understand key requirements and deliver projects that are the best in the industry.
Seeking and finding ways to enhance the e-commerce experience of our websites â€" focusing on mobile and responsive design
Pro-actively pushing the level of quality in both thinking and execution.
Ideal if (but not a must):
Experience with Shopify or a similar e-commerce platform (Magento, Woocommerce, Demandware, Hybris).
Experience designing e-commerce websites. You will have a good understanding of common e-commerce UX patterns.
Relevant experience in an agency or in-house and/or a degree in digital media design (or similar)
Although this is not a development role, knowledge of LIQUID (Shopify's templating language) would be a bonus.

Demonstrable practical experience in design and/or skill-related position (email HTML coding, graphic design, web design, etc).
Familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures of digital graphic design and web development.
Proven experience in client satisfaction and success.
Proven understanding of layouts, responsive capabilities, and technologies that support successful email marketing campaigns
Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with project management and interpersonal communication abilities.
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Strong interest in eCommerce and the user experience
On offer for the successful Digital Designer is a salary of £28 - £35 depending on experience. A great opportunity for career progression and a fun dynamic team to work with.
