The Account Director role
The Account Director will be managing two accounts. The first is an innovative international travel company with its roots in the UK. This is a fast-paced account offering plenty of creative challenges as the client has a “test and learn” mindset and applies this to everything they do. The agency has a great relationship with the client who thrives on innovation and experimenting with new ideas.
The agency is the brand lead on the account and the work is completely 360 spanning everything from TV through to digital and social.
The second account is an online gaming account with a particular focus on sports. This is a new win for the agency.
It is an incredibly interesting time for the account which operates in a competitive category full of small brands jockeying for position which all have some sort of product or communications differentiation. The client doesn’t currently have either of these!
But they want to change this so they can quickly start competing with the category leaders and this is why they have chosen this particular agency.
The Account Director will be managing on-going campaigns and creative development for the UK and Europe. The client wants to make great category defining work and they are growing very fast. There is huge opportunity for the Account Director to make lots of brilliant stuff.
This year the agency will be launching new creative campaigns for the UK and Europe doing full above the line campaigns working their way through the sporting calendar.
The client is bold but thoughtful as well. They want to work closely with the agency to throw a lasso over the head of fickle consumers and reel them in. The Account Director will be handling a dynamic account whose mission is to tug at the attention span of the time-poor consumer.
