Brilliant job opportunity for a Head of Operations & People to join this boutique design agency with some of the biggest name clients going, based in Central London.

My client is an award winning design agency, with offices in London and New York. They are a highly creative design agency and work across brand development, evolution and creation, as well as more traditional and complex comms across print and digital such as brochures, letters, forms, websites, apps, digital campaigns, emails, tone of voice guidelines, naming. They are a small but mighty team, with big plans to grow, and well-versed in working fast and playing hard. Their clients are global, well-known brands predominantly in the banking, utility, financial services and insurance sectors and due to growth they are now looking for a new Head of Operations & People.

The role of the Head of Operations & People will be a varied and integral part of the agency, harbouring communication, a positive culture and ensuring collaboration between everyone. They’ll be responsible for the management of the agencies people in both the London and New York offices, dealing with any day to day HR matters, including supporting recruitment and onboarding of new staff, as and when is needed. Furthermore, they’ll proactively manage all operational aspects of both offices, thus ensuring the designers can focus their time on designing, and the account managers can continue to develop strong relationships, delivering excellent work that delights their clients.

To be the right Head of Operations & People, you’ll have extensive operations and people management experience, more than likely gained from a corporate or start-up with less than 50 people. As such you will be used to turning your hand to whatever task is required and handle the fast paced and varied workload. While they have an HR Consultant on hand to assist and provide advice, you’ll also have experience of HR matters and be confident in dealing with any issues that arise.

In terms of the person, you’ll be someone who easily builds rapport with your colleagues, is professional and can manage their time and workload autonomously. You’ll also need to have a positive energy and a tenacity and desire to make a difference.

In return you'll get the chance to work with a fun and down to earth team, that has a family feel to it.

So if this sounds like you please get in touch with your latest CV, and a brief explanation as to why you're suited to the role.
Please note due to the high volume of candidates we will only reply to those successful in their application.
