There are many Client Partner roles out there and at times it can be hard to differentiate one from the other. Most of them will be really good stable roles where if you follow processes you will always do well.
However once in a while a role/agency comes along that’s different. Offers you something more than just a job, giving you that blast of excitement and yet still challenges and reminds you why you got into this industry in the first place.

Our client is a disruptive marketing agency that was founded by two industry leaders who have a reputation for doing things differently and have a proven track record throughout their careers that back this up.
This is not an egotistical agency, they don’t believe in the ivory tower syndrome so big egos need not apply. As a disruptive marketing agency they invest heavily into creativity and strategy and their approach and ideas are designed to shake the markets they operate in, which they do very well.
They’ve only been around for a few years and already have won some big names under their belt and yet still maintain their 100% pitch win success rate. I can reveal more later.
Its due to this ongoing success that we are now seeking a Client Partner or Client Services Director to come on board and work across the agency’s B2B client portfolio and well as take leadership of the client services team and part operations of the agency.
This role as Client Partner or Client Services Director has been created with a view to giving an opportunity for this person to step up into the Deputy Managing Director position.
We aren’t looking for a typical Client Partner. This person needs to be a real leader with drive and ambition to be more than what the job title suggests. If you prefer to work for a well established agency that have lots of processes and structure then this role won’t be for you.
We are looking for someone who can take a lego set so to speak and build something fantastic as well as has solid experience working within the B2B integrated creative agency arena.
To be suitable for this role as Client Partner, be prepared to role your sleeves up and get stuck in. As you should lead by example. Leaders are involved, not sitting on the side lines giving motivational speeches.
You will be a voice in the room, someone people will look up to because you are knowledgeable, and your team will trust you.
But most importantly you must be prepared to challenge the norm. As I said before this is disruptive marketing so it’s about thinking differently and being inspired by others.
And finally try to remember it’s also about having fun. So as much as we want you to love the opportunity and feel motivated to come in every day, what’s even better is if you’ve got a personal passion outside of work. Something that is completely yours.
