To £80k basic plus 20% plus big company benefits

My client, a global broadcaster/media owner is looking for an experienced ad sales professional to lead our Global Advertising Sales business, reporting into the Director of Ad Sales.

 The Head of Global Ad Sales will be responsible for representing global advertising for our portfolio; developing and implementing global advertising sales strategy, working independently and collaboratively with business stakeholders to secure commercial partnerships across all our linear and digital channels. This role will have the responsibility of developing two team members. 

This role is results and performance driven. We are seeking an executive that can demonstrate a successful career in media sales, ideally international sales, with strong contacts in the industry and excellent presentation experience and sales skills.

Additionally, the role will be coordinating various business partners in other regions, including sales reps, media agencies, and global clients. You will need to build up and use your own networks to promote and monetise our media assets across UK and international markets. Travel is a key part of this role, regular trips around Europe but also potentially to other continents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent regional and international advertising sales within the EMEA region; 
  • Develop and implement regional and international advertising sales strategy across the region; 
  • Build regional and international advertising sales proposition to achieve sales growth; 
  • Work in collaboration with internal departments building sales collateral and, in the production, implementation and management of integrated brand partnership solutions across the portfolio; 
  • Develop and nurture a dedicated sales team; 
  • Establish network of external sales representation within the EMEA region; 
  • Build strategic partnerships with external buying points (agencies and brands) across EMEA; 
  • Raise our profile within the international marketplace and internal perception of global advertising sales division; 
  • Develop and implement trade marketing strategy in collaboration with the relevant departments;
  • Maintain reporting and forecasting as required by management
