Service Design Lead (Perm)
Major Players are currently working with one of London's most well renowned branding and digital agencies. They are looking for a Lead Service Designer to come on board in order to help out with their worldwide client list.
As a Design consultancy they are always striving to develop new ways in which they can elevate Service design for their customers and employees.
It's a flexible role, where sometimes you will focus on big projects, sometimes several smaller ones,
always thinking of ways to help the agency and its clients evolve.
You need to be comfortable with ambiguity - not knowing exactly what is needed, but diving into a
problem big or small. You always put the customer at the heart of your design thinking and have
the mind-set and skill to make progress quickly even when you don't know where all of the pieces
You love immersive research with users and employees and see it as an invaluable starting point -
living the experience while designing for it.
You enjoy uncovering challenges and can find typical and atypical answers to problems. You
employ a diverse set of methods and love interesting solutions.
Your key skills include storytelling, so you can write a good narrative to communicate your idea or
create an amazing visual design or storyboard.
You love spending time with other creatives and with clients to work through problems turning
complex thinking into easily digestible stories.
You are comfortable with there being no "typical" day, and can manage your own time between
projects, while sharing your skills with others in the team so we can design better services,
products and experiences for people and the world.
You are not all about the screen and enjoy a variety of materials and channels to communicate,
using customer insights to create practical, effective design solutions that result in truly
You want to challenge your own ways of thinking and try new things.
You'll have at least 5 years experience working at an interactive agency, with loads of evidence of
your critical thinking and projects to show where you've lead or played a lead role.
We'd love to see evidence of workshops, user journeys, writing or design. Across it all we're
looking for clear communication, and great application of brand and technology. Successful
application of Artificial intelligence would be a bonus.
We also need you to be able to speak brand - voice, visual, purpose - whatever your angle.
You're a complete self starter, learning new things all the time, questioning how things work, taking
them apart and putting them back together. A collaborator, a problem solver.
