Now what do we need and what is this role about? As a Paid Media Analyst, you will be responsible for creating, optimising and managing the development of paid media accounts (paid search, shopping and paid social) delivering against performance, ROI and revenue targets.

Role and responsibilities:

Strategy and Creation

  • You will create and set up new paid media campaigns for clients
  • Support the Paid Media Manager in the development of the paid media strategy
  • Research and analyse new market trends and seasonality fluctuations and apply to campaigns
  • Continuously analyse the market and competitors to discover new opportunities and changes
  • Keyword and audience research: think creatively and identify audiences to target for campaigns
  • Work with the Audience and Data Insights team and collaborate with the Paid Media, PR and Content teams to identify trends, analyse performance and take into consideration audience growth, change in profile, engagement, reach, leads and sales

Optimisation and Development

  • Search query report, audience, placement targeting, budget health checks
  • A/B testing: ad copy, formats, match types, landing pages, audiences, placements, analyse results and recommend campaign changes and updates
  • Ensure operations are aligned with campaign strategies and commercial goals

Client Interaction

  • Understand the client's brand as part of the immersion process
  • Contribute to client calls
  • Attend client monthly and quarterly reviews
  • Presentations with detailed analysis, on performance and/ or testing
  • Respond to client requests

Training and Mentoring

  • Support Paid Media Execs on a day to day basis
  • Give training to overall department on any subject you know
  • Contribute to blog posts

  • Degree level educated
  • Experience working in a similar role (agency or brand)
  • Microsoft Excel proficient
  • Motivated and Analytical
  • Ability to build excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
