Account Director (Boutique Healthcare Agency) – Central London – to £60k

This ambitious boutique will blow you away. It has experienced unprecedented growth over the last four years which has elevated it from a start-up to a 30-strong agency.

Now the team is looking for a talented Account Director to help it grow further. The agency will also consider a hungry Senior Account Manager or Junior Account Director looking to step up, which explains a salary band from £47k to £60k.

The agency

Best described as a digitally led, creative med comms agency, it has a true ‘family feel’ and a dynamic culture. It produces integrated medical comms for its clients – both patients and doctors.

The Account Director role

The agency is looking for a new Account Director as the current incumbent is also acting CSD and will officially take on that role shortly.

The Account Director will be a key hire for the agency. An agile, confident account handler, you should have solid experience in med comms. A science background is also ideal but NOT essential.

You will be managing a team of Account Managers too so previous management experience is required.

The agency is not looking for a Digital Account Director per se but digital experience would be a big advantage.

The potential to move quickly up the ranks is very high: there are big opportunities on your accounts and then agency prefers to promote from within wherever possible.

Clients and deliverables

The agency offers three types of marketing service:

1 Brand and marketing (sales aids, emails, online portals, apps, etc)

2 Med news and education (video journals, etc)

3 Patient comms

Key deliverables will include videos and animation (the latter mainly for conferences), digital comms including e-learning, web builds, email marketing, apps and some print.

You will work on two large client accounts and organic growth will be a key part of your remit. You will also work on new business.

Salary and benefits

To £60k depending on experience.
