This bright and fun events platform and app sits in the heart of youth marketing. Starting as a bright idea by a equally bright young spark, they have grown to be a force to be reckoned with concerning anything targeting university students. With great growth comes great change and now they have relocated to the capital to continue their journey.
This is a brand new role within the company. As the driving force for growth, the role involves building relationships with brands, experiential, events and marketing agencies who wish to target students. This platform offers a gateway to their target audience and so the role requires collaborating with them to identify solutions and opportunities for show stopping communication. You will need to be a creative seller who has experience of thinking outside the box as well as understanding how Below The Line agencies work. Responsibilities include:-
- Identifying and pursuing new opportunities
- Creating sales collateral and costings for prospects
- Ensuring the CRM system is up to date and accurate
- Building and maintaining relationships with brand/agency clients and Student Union partners
You will have previous sales experience working in a Below The Line and or Experiential agency. A proven track record of creative selling and a real passion for growing a business. The Business Development Director is expected to:
- Be creative, resourceful and inventive
- Have the ability to juggle multiple projects with a good attention to detail
- Have strong written and communication skills Have a positive attitude
