TCM are working with a unique leading brand/talent agency who represent prestige brands and talent.

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Director to work across a variety of exciting projects from leading the initial strategy development process through to execution and lead on doing equity and licensing driven deals for clients.

You will have strong talent & brand relationships in order to identify/pitch and sign new clients & opportunities – with an ability to spot brand/talent relevant for commercial launch and/or category growth – including planning how to meet client demands and generate sales for the group as a result

  • Proven track record of doing commercial deals for clients
  • Has digital influencer and/or commerce experience and can add value through digital strategy and growth 
  • Awareness of the DTC retail business and licensing opportunities within fashion and/or beauty, and its structure in the market place.
  • Run a multi-discipline team of 5-6 people to achieve deliverables
  • Strong leader, providing strategy, guidance and business acumen – ability to over-see and own the client review process
  • Strong Client Servicing capabilities – ability to roadmap, manage and regularly update clients and create critical paths
  • Passionate, determined, motivated to grow the business both in Europe and North America 
  • Drive new business development from existing client relationships
  • Able to negotiate and manage long form contracts and oversee divisional SOW’s and contracts
  • Build and drive the creation of strategic work through the lens of data – demonstrating the ability to make recommendations informed by consumer insights, KPIs and industry landscape
  • Working alongside the Licensing Director to ensure all conversations, opportunities and potential clients are agreed, scoped and considered

Additional info about you

  • Significant relevant work experience in brand and talent building and/or licensing, with experience of leading strategy development through to execution
  • Tenacious, go getting, creative and strategic
  • Confident in ‘owning the room’ and with public speaking
  • Clear/concise written and verbal communication with strong numerical and English comprehension skills
  • Passionate about helping turn people into brands and build long lasting and lucrative equity and brand driven deals
  • A thorough approach to solving problems
