HTML - Email and SMS/Push Designer - Competitive Salary - London

Our client is a well known British brand and the clothing and home marketing teams are on a journey to change perceptions. Joining a dynamic and ambitious team in a central London head office, this is a great opportunity if you have created emails, SMS and push notifications for a large customer database before.

In this role you will accountable for one direct report (HTML assistant) and will support the loyalty programme team across clothing and home. Working with the loyalty marketing team you will create and deliver relevant, rewarding and targeted communications that the customers will love.

Ensuring customers receive the right message at the right time and capitalising on the client's ability to personalise communications means that this can be quite a complex and detailed role.

The aim is to become Britain's best loved Clothing and Home loyalty programme, with well-targeted communications and rewards that customers really connect with on all levels.

The scheme has millions of members and has grown by 35% in the last 3 years, and they send over 1 billion emails every year, so this role is sure to you keep you stretched and excited. With some of the best engagement rates in the market, an average email opening rate of 35%, and good click through rates, keeping the CRM channels fresh and interesting for the customers is all part of the challenge!

During the last 18 months the business and the communications have gone through a huge transformation and you will need to support the continuous development of customer segmentation models, operational excellence and a culture of test and learn across the whole department.

Key accountabilities will include:
· Creating industry leading email campaigns
· Building out email templates from scratch as well as optimising emails
· Using data to deploying emails across segments
· Working with 3rd party agencies
· A/B testing campaigns across multiple territories
· Keeping automated campaigns up to date
· Quality control checks / troubleshooting rendering
· Suggesting and implementing continual improvement for email designs

The key skills and experience you'll need to be successful in the role:

· Strong understanding of HTML / CSS is essential (3+ years)
· Experience using Salesforce/Exact Target for email deployment is essential
· Experience using AMP script for email builds
· Experience of using Phrasee for subject line optimisation, good but not essential
· Experience of sending SMS and Push messages would be good but not essential
· Knowledge of email best practices ensuring deliverability and correct rendering across email clients and browsers
· Strong attention to detail and the ability to thoroughly QA your own work
· Awareness of the latest email trends
· Comfortable using Adobe Photoshop/Dreamweaver
· Experience using rendering tools especially Litmus
· Strong time management and communication skills - working with other members of the CRM, Marketing and creative teams to deliver campaigns on time.
· Experience segmenting and tracking emails and using the data accordingly
