You need to be a deep-dive researcher who can turn heavy tech subjects into human speak with clarity of voice and a strong personality. You should be familiar with taking a core idea and crafting it into brilliant content – you won’t be handed a story and simply asked to make it sound good; you’ll be sent out to dig deep and find the most compelling way to tell it.
Your past work will be sometimes journalistic and sometimes practical, hardworking and useful. You’ll have created emotional, visceral and energetic pieces, and all of it will have voice and character. Your work will be sharp, powerful and will incite action.
Crucially, this isn’t just a writing gig – this is a thinking job.
In return, our client offers a generous salary, based on experience:
Mid weight: £34k – £40K
Seniors: anything up to £50k
