PR & Marketing Manager - Up to £40,000 - London

THE COMPANY
An award-winning, independent design agency. Gorgeous central London studio filled with talented strategists, innovators, designers and account handlers, delivering commercially successful creative design to blue chip clients.

THE ROLE
This agency already has a fantastic reputation in the creative industry, and are now looking for a PR & Marketing Manager to build on this. You'll have lots of scope to own the role and really drive exciting marketing opportunities for them.

This role covers both Marketing and PR, but if you don't have media contacts that's fine. However, we are looking for someone who can make recommendations on events and award submissions, write and produce relevant and engaging content, manage the agency's website and social media channels, and develop and deliver the marketing plan.

You will liaise with all key departments of the agency, ensuring that you are targeting the right prospective clients and reaching them with creative and effective messaging. You'll therefore be a real relationship person, who is able to gain the confidence of both clients and colleagues.

Their clients are predominantly big FMCG brands so ideally you will have some experience with this sector, but they also do some corporate branding work. A passion for the design industry is essential in this role, along with a genuine belief in the power of creativity.

YOU
As you'd imagine, this agency will need a candidate who has the skills and experience to navigate the creative industry. So we need you to demonstrate:

- a background in the marketing of a creative agency: this can be advertising, integrated, PR etc - it doesn't have to be from a design agency
- proven ability to work autonomously and create and deliver a marketing plan
- a knowledge of creative industry awards, eg Cannes Lions
- excellent writing and content creation skills
