B2B Marketing Manager, EMEA - Media Agency
Let's get one thing straight here, this is a client-side opportunity but within an agency! You'll be leading all the comms & PR on behalf of this agency NOT for any clients that they agency partner with.
Now the agency itself is brilliant, they have a brilliant work/life balance and a culture that is typical on the media industry. Your job sits in with the internal Marketing team, looking after external and internal comms, as well as leading the PR and social output. They have a very well-known presence in the industry, especially as they are part of the big four network groups (but operate separately, without the typical restrictions).
The role is about developing the brand and reputation of the agency, both from a UK perspective and wider global markets, internally & externally. It's very diverse as far as roles go, with a multitude of different projects happening all the time, keeping the role fresh and exciting.
There are a few things to factor in here that make this role great other than the fact the agency is brilliant and located in the heart of London's west end. The first is the autonomy you'll get with the role, your new manager understands what's needed but they also need you to take charge of projects and run them yourself. Which includes the creation of content, campaigns and the idea's behind the brands messaging.
Secondly, it's got to be the people. You spend most of your life with your work colleague's and this team is brilliant, they are hard-working, motived and have a great time whilst developing the brand globally. They're a social bunch and do enjoy a drink in the pub on a Friday (who doesn't?).
