Account Director – B2B Marketing Agency

£45,000 - £55,000

The opportunity 

My client is is a B2B Technology Marketing agency focused on providing its clients, and employees, with a better agency experience. Due to strong business performance, they are looking for an Account Director to play a key role in consulting clients and managing an account team.

The role

Reporting into the Group Account Director you will be responsible for leading and developing client relationships, client strategy and team members to ensure quality output, efficiency and profitability. Core objectives of the role include:

  • Excellence in all aspects of client relationships, both personally and within the team
  • Oversee the management, stability and growth of key client accounts
  • Financial control of client accounts, via accurate forecasting and process management 
  • Manage, inspire and mentor team members to achieve their best


The agency

My client provides a full range of services, including planning, creative, copy, web, video, event management and digital execution across social media, advertising and marketing automation. 

Their management approach is to work to achieve quality in every aspect of the business. This includes their detailed briefing and studio processes, their consistent and proactive approach to client management, and how they recruit and retain our people. They have even developed their own agency end-to-end management software platform  – to ensure that this supports our processes. 

The following is desired: 

  • At least 1 years’ agency experience as an Account Director
  • Knowledge across multiple marketing disciplines 
  • Strong B2B or technology client experience 
  • A track record of leading and growing an account portfolio 
  • Experience in managing a team
  • An interest in technology and understanding of the latest trends
