ACCOUNT DIRECTOR – Branding & Employee Engagement

Permanent & freelance / contract role available.

Global creative brand communications agency that consistently produces quality, award-winning work needs an Account Director. Clients are well-known blue chips from a wide range of industries. 

Projects will include corporate and employer branding, internal communications and employee engagement heading up campaigns for global companies engaging influencers with compelling content

As Account Director you will be client facing, capable of maintaining dialogue at a senior level, whilst developing the client relationship. You’ll need to take responsibility for all aspects, logistics and timings of complex and diverse projects.

Day-to-day you will work as part of an account team, coaching and developing junior members of the team and leading and managing your own projects.  You should be committed to providing clients with outstanding service, delivering trusted advice and planning compelling campaigns.

You will have experience of employer branding and employee engagement. You’ll be passionate about helping your clients build their employer reputations and not afraid to push boundaries and try new things.

You will be a strategic thinker, conversant in and with an opinion on the latest trends, able to guide your clients and members of the team. Confident in sharing your views and passionate about reaching your client’s goals, you’ll also be an inspiring leader and achieve success through helping others thrive.

Role responsibilities
Day-to-day you will help to lead account teams and activity across a variety of projects and clients, producing compelling and intuitive communication solutions and results.

As an Account Director, you will be responsible for developing client accounts and campaign strategies, acting as the day-to-day lead on key accounts. Revenue generation and income on your accounts is a key responsibility, therefore you will need to ensure any project solution is commercially viable and all projects exceed agreed client objectives.

Ideal experience

  • Experience in the employer brand / employee engagement sector
  • Proven strategic and creative ability to develop campaigns that get results
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to present confidently and excellent writing and editing skills
  • A good understanding of social media platforms and ability to advise clients on digital strategies, content and measurement
  • Commercially astute
