The Agency

This agency is a leading light in branding. Specialising in branding, retail and consumer, both on and offline, this team is a major creative force in the industry, working on behalf of some of the leading consumer brand names, designing and influencing at every consumer touchpoint.

SAM – the role

The SAM co-ordinates client programmes in conjunction with the Account Director and Account Manager. They will act as the liaison between the team and the client, effectively engaging internal teams and clients to ensure successful, co-ordinated results.

The SAM strives to maintain, meet and exceed client expectations in overseeing the management and delivery of projects to budget and on time. You’ll clearly need to be a team player with strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.  You’ll need to be exceptionally organised and be able to coordinate, self-motivate and support the team.

SAM - experience

  • Previous agency experience at account manager level in the design/branding industry or related creative industry (retail experience required) with 4+ years’ experience
  • Proven experience in 3D/environmental design process
  • Proven ability to manage medium to large scale branding and design projects for both environments and brand communication deliverables
  • Strong experience engaging, developing and retaining client relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills honed within the creative industry

SAM - Key Responsibilities -

  • Project Management
    • Client lead on at least one account in addition to multiple project workstreams
    • Overall responsibility for the management or co-ordination of projects from start to finish 
  • Team Co-ordination
    • Ability to unify a small team behind a single vison showcasing clear interdisciplinary understanding
    • Demonstrate a full understanding of the brief, requirements and deliverables
  • Clients
  • Managing client expectations at all times with issues tackled in advance and problems foreseen and resolved
  • Building and maintaining strong continuous relationships with key senior clients, identifying and addressing their needs
  • Finance
    • Financially accountable for the whole project; defining the scope of work, planning cost proposals and timelines as well as forecasting budgets and tracking spend
    • Confident negotiator
    • The ability to uncover potential opportunities within the current workstreams
  • Creative
    • Ensuring creative teams are fully briefed. Participating in brand discussions and strategic deliverables with clients, strategists and/or creative teams
    • Adding value through creative feedback 
    • Confidently present work
