Video Editor
Reference number: A2861019
Location: Bedfordshire
Salary starting at £25,463 to £27,585 per annum - Applicants should expect under normal circumstances to receive an offer at the bottom of the advertised range
Hours: Full time
Contract: Permanent
Your creative eye and storytelling skills will be put to the test. Whether defining your own creative direction or following the creative lead of others, you will be required to create inspiring video content that maximises engagement. Your passion for video, keen eye on the industry and understanding of how video can connect with audiences to drive behaviour change will provide a firm foundation to your daily work.
Your creativity needs to be complemented by your incredible technical abilities. The charity is looking for someone who knows their onions when it comes to the video production environment (technology, programmes, file management procedures and processes) and someone who keeps their eye on the outside world looking for new technologies and techniques. But this know-how needs to be balanced by an ability to work at pace and work to modest budgets - they are looking for someone who is at their most creative under such constraints.
And it's not just about what you produce. Your experience in training, coaching, facilitating and enabling others to compile, edit and deliver their own engaging footage will ensure video production is impactful and on brand right across the organisation. You'll enjoy working with a wide range of stakeholders and get personal fulfilment from enabling them and developing their abilities.
Closing date: 22 November 2019
