In a nutshell
As our Campaigns Manager, you will be accountable for defining the campaign creative and associated media plan to drive target brand and commercial objectives in the UK. With responsibility for igniting brand love you will drive awareness, consideration and preference for our brand in the most cost-effective way.
You’ll lead the day-to-day interface with our agency partners to ensure appropriate performance standards are upheld across the partner roster, with feedback given at structured intervals.
Supporting the VP of UK Marketing and Head of Brand Strategy and Campaigns, you will define the long-term brand strategy, working flexibly across the wider Marketing team to understand the 360 degree levers to advance our brand.
Day to day
As an inspirational leader you will coach & lead your team to achieve brand & financial targets. You’ll build outstanding cross-functional relationships across Product, Commercial and Sales teams through effective collaboration and stakeholder management.
As part of planning and implementing consumer marketing campaigns, you will brief internal and external partner agencies for both strategic and tactical campaigns in order to achieve marketing and sales objectives, balancing short term and long term opportunities.
You will plan and develop outstanding integrated campaigns end to end, including target audience identification, insights generation, brief writing, media planning, creative collateral development and stakeholder management.
Collaborating effectively with colleagues across the business, you will deliver through the line campaigns whose processes are streamlined and efficient with timely delivery.
You’ll deliver well thought-through and succinct briefs to agency partners and our Brand Identity team, providing constructive and timely feedback throughout development process.
Championing best practice, you will act as the passionate brand guardian, ensuring brand image standards and quality are met and are consistent across communications.
With a relentless focus on consumer needs and trends for the travel sector, you’ll constantly strive to apply fresh new thinking to internal business needs and campaigns and deliver innovative campaigns rooted in consumer insights, creating standout in a competitive market.
Supporting the development long term brand strategy and annual brand plan for Virgin Atlantic/ Holidays which delivers brand & commercial targets whilst fully leveraging synergies. Working with the Channel Sales team to create a balanced marketing calendar to achieve short term and long-term objectives.
With conscientious budget management, you will ensure campaigns and collaterals are delivered timely, within budget and as efficient as possible.
Are you a creative and entrepreneurial thinker with the ability to generate ideas and see them through to successful execution? Do you love igniting brand love in an innovative and exciting way?
With a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, you’ll need to be a resourceful self-starter with a high degree of commercial acumen. You will also have a proven track record defining and delivering comprehensive marketing plans for a leading consumer brand. It’s also important that you have a good degree of knowledge and proficiency across a diverse range of marketing disciplines from advertising, PR, social, content creation, digital and retail. And robust MS office skills - MS Word, Excel, Power Point are essential.
