For over 85 years, we have produced an incomparable series of practical lighting ideally suited for both commercial and domestic interiors. From the creation of the iconic Original 1227™ desk lamp to the development of extended collections by esteemed industrial designer Sir Kenneth Grange, to recent collaborations with fashion designers Paul Smith and Margaret Howell, design integrity remains at the heart of this progressive British brand. Today, our lamps can be found in homes, offices, restaurants, bars, and hotels in over 50 countries.

The Marketing Manager Role:

Reporting to the Managing Director the Marketing Manager will have responsibility for ongoing strategic development (with the Managing Director), implementation and delivery our global brand and marketing strategy.

Responsibilities:

Brand and Marketing Management:


+ Ongoing strategic development (with the Managing Director), implementation and delivering our global brand and marketing strategy, including budget responsibility
+ Management and delivery of brand assets (including photography; video/film; PR; etc.), to continually develop our brand story
+ Oversee and deliver all brand and marketing materials including generation of content for external communication
+ Delivery and implementation of a global marketing calendar to support brand across all areas of the business offline and online
+ Manage our Public Relations (PR) partner to deliver our PR strategy
+ Management of existing brand and marketing partnerships for the business
+ Manage proactive strategy to target new key brands, collaborators and influencers that align with the brand
+ Strategic driver and project manager of the overall online marketing strategy in moving the brand forwards online
+ Delivery of brand marketing and online communication materials including but not limited to online catalogues, sales and trade downloads, etc.
+ Responsible for establishing third party associations and promotional campaigns to drive traffic to the web. Identify target audiences and deliver campaigns to dovetail into the overall marketing strategy
+ Coordinate, implement and develop all social media for our business (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.)
+ Updating our website (using our CMS) making modifications and updates to products, projects, blogs, etc.
+ Manage and create (where relevant) the design and layout of selected online and printed marketing material
+ Input into global eCommerce strategy and objectives managing targeted online and brand campaigns
+ Producing appropriate reports / dashboards Google Analytics and other tools
+ Manage email lists, developing newsletters, e-shots, and promotions for these channels

Technical Knowledge:

+ Excellent level of competence in the use of the Microsoft Office suite
+ Excellent graphic design experience (In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop)
+ Good understanding of Google Analytics
+ Good technical ability with CMS and online tools

Project Management:

+ Responsible for managing marketing projects
+ Establishes project specific goals, communicates them effectively to all project stakeholders, and devises strategies in order to meet them effectively and efficiently
+ Creates and executes appropriate project work plans and revises them as required to meet changing needs and requirements
+ Identifies resources required and assigns individual responsibilities
+ Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
+ Minimizes our exposure and risk on project

About You:

+ We are looking for a highly driven person with experience of marketing in a brand based business. You will have:
+ 5+ years relevant experience of marketing
+ Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate discipline
+ Excellent communication skills, particularly written.
+ Strong social media experience
+ Good technical ability with CMS and online tools
+ Excellent graphic design experience
+ An all-encompassing desire to roll up your sleeves and get the job done
+ Highly motivated, self-starter with a ‘roll your sleeves up’ and hands on attitude
+ Maintains a positive and professional attitude
+ Committed to personal and professional growth
