This is a great opportunity for an Account Director to join one of the UK's largest events agencies. The agency is on the lookout for an Account Director to join their Senior Leadership Team on a permanent basis. The role has been created as a result of continued expansion thanks to a number of exciting client wins in 2019.
The agency's portfolio is host to a number of International blue-chip clients across healthcare, automotive, finance and education. Their projects span Europe, the US, Asia and beyond, so you must be happy to travel when required. There couldn't be a better time to join the company as they have just moved into new and modern offices, commutable from Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, Notts, Derby and more. If you live slightly further afield, the agency are happy for you to work from home for part of the week.
The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience within the world of events/exhibitions (agency/in-house/public sector etc). You will have been a successful line manager of a sizeable team for at least 3 years. In this role you will be responsible for your team's morale and development, so a real 'people person' with a passion for the teams success is required. The successful candidate should have a history of looking for and developing existing client account opportunities to increase new business pipeline. Any pharmaceutical/healthcare experience would be a bonus, but not a must.
