We’re recruiting on behalf of a direct to consumer financial services business with big ambitions in the UK market and for its in-house creative studio. 

The business has already established a significant customer base since it was founded five years ago and is continuing to grow this by launching new products, new brands and moving in to new categories.  A core focus for delivering on this exciting agenda is the production of high quality and engaging marketing communications and copy across a wide range of channels and customer touch points.  We’re looking for a mid-senior level Copywriter confident taking the lead in this important area of the business and excited by the challenges and opportunities of working for a fresh and growing brand.

This person will work very closely with the Head of Creative and take the lead on developing both product and brand copy across all channels and customer communications including direct mail, print, paid social, email campaigns, website content and PPC.  You will be responsible for understanding the brand propositions and delivering copy and content that is aligned with the brand TOV whilst attracting and engaging customers in new and innovative ways.

You will have influence over how the brand copy and TOV guidelines are developed and executed, working with other members of the creative and marketing teams to ensure that copy and language are given careful consideration and attention in all creative concepts, campaigns and communications.  You will also be responsible for managing 3rd party accreditation providers and should ideally have some previous experience of this.

Our ideal candidate:

Will need previous experience writing for consumer brands, ideally with some in the financial or professional services sectors.

Is confident writing across multiple channels and customer touchpoints, producing engaging copy for both digital and offline.

Is conceptually creative but equally comfortable writing longer copy for more detailed customer communications and documents.

Has a collaborative working style and enjoys being part of a wider creative and marketing team.

Is highly organised with impeccable attention to detail whilst managing multiple projects at any one time.
