New breed marketing consultancy require a proven growth director to spearhead their client development
Remember dirt is good?
3 words that changed the narrative for an industry, but why?
Persil went against group think, vanilla marketing and the general norm and planted a disruptive seed that polarised opinion but stood out a mile.
It isn't easy to be different. But it matters.
One such consultancy are channelling their inner Persil to go against the grain and already winning..but why?
Because they're very different - they're all marketers at the top of their gamed who cut through the noise to reinvent and create belief.
They're the first to admit that they're not for everyone , in fact 90% of clients won't like them and that's fine.
Their message is clear, they only want impatient, fearless clients, intent on high growth and who want to challenge the convention of their market place.
They're small and will pit themselves against agencies but they're quick to distance themselves from being one.
So, they need a growth director who can ideally be in The Midlands a couple of days a week.
The rest of the time you'll be where you need to be, seeking out and delivering a client base with no fear and big ambition.
Their belief stems from there being too many me too brands and markets. Look around, you can tell what a brand does by it's tone and colour palate. Their clients will be those who want double digit growth not incremental and they'll gain this by standing out and cutting through.
You'll have a plan, be able to get to Birmingham, know the right doors to open and who to talk to. This could be through a piece of arrow sharp content, a subtle event, a white paper or just through your extensive network.
As their growth director, you'll be a seasoned developer of the right type of business. A natural sales person and networker with the right mix of candour, charm and sharp focus to broker the right conversations.
Your target clients will be high growth businesses across FMCG, tech, digital, professional and business services.
It's pretty key that you bring a growth track record gained within the marketing/brand space - you could be at a marketing agency or consultancy and want a more cerebral challenge where bravery, focus and principle, win.
Equally you could have been an agency MD or board director or even a commercial director where you've naturally influenced the c-suite and built partnerships.
If you read this and honestly think you'd fit, lets talk.
