Our client is an established leading player in today’s multi-channel media and seek  an experienced Content Marketing Manager who will work closely with their team to develop the specialist division in the company. The Company vision is to expand its content marketing business having emphasis on its core strengths of travel sport and ancillary lifestyle areas. Candidates will understand the powerful role that content creation can play in engaging with customers and prospects. They are seeking an established and experienced/well connected person who already has good long term existing contacts with media agencies, advertising agencies and Marketing Directors and understands and can engage in the tender process..

Articulate communication and excellent presentation skills is key in this role. Content Creation plays a vital role within  this company’s marketing activities and the company plans to significantly increase its market share in this sector. Candidates will be at ease liaising with various parts of the business, turning client’s objectives and expectations into reality by using a variety of cross media platforms including Customer Magazines, Digital Campaigns, Books, Events, Road Shows, Product Launches, Partnership Content, Promotional Publications, TV/Video Production, Influencers and new Publishing Contracts

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to fully analyse project briefs and tender processes

• Collating your own relevant database of prospects 

• Excellent presentations skills, team player and an effective communicator

• Collate detailed tender documents and compile internal work flow summaries

• Prepare spreadsheets of database information with summary sales updates

• Understand how the company can monetise their cross-media platforms and react quickly to opportunities

• Develop new business and creating ongoing pipeline through pitches to clients, advertising and marketing companies

• Good listener with the confidence to ask questions to transform client’s thoughts into reality

• Organisational skills and report literacy 

• Conduit between clients and the company

• Knowledge of the digital/content creation landscape

• High levels of numeracy and creative skills

• Strong communication, negotiation and presenting skills 

• Ideal candidate is unflappable, confident, ambitious 

• Collaborative work style and ability to handle multiple and changing priorities
