Do you have the experience and contacts for this position?  This is an incredibly exciting role working across a big food portfolio and is truly 360 as you will be responsible for selling print, digital display, programmatic & data, content partnerships, sponsorship, podcasts and where appropriate live events to a predefined London agency group. You will have a strong digital background, be able to nurture new and existing relationships and be able to work quickly and efficiently under pressure. The ideal candidate will be a confident, strong communicator who is highly organised with an appetite for hard work and a tenacious approach to winning business.

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for maximising revenue across  print and digital brands from a predefined group of major London agencies by developing and maintaining strong agency relationships up to and including Director level 

• You must demonstrate you can develop your agency portfolio and report on share and market performance

• You must be able to read, interrogate and communicate various data touch points to enhance sales pitches and ultimately win business

• You will be creative, enthusiastic and tenacious with strong knowledge and experience of partnerships/creative selling and be able to respond to creative briefs with a first-class, compelling and engaging response, often at very short notice

• You will be required to lead / play a pivotal role in the brainstorms, coordinating the different team members - both sales and creative - to get the necessary information and ideas required

• You will be required to work with Editorial, Publishing and Creative design teams to ensure creative ideas are feasible in terms of costs, timings and guidelines as well as work closely with Production and Project Managers to ensure company profit margins are met

• You must be able to work very closely and efficiently with the Project Managers and Digital Sales Planners to ensure projects run smoothly, on budget and deliver against client KPI’s 

• You will be expected to identify, develop and close core & non-core new business 

You must demonstrate strong negotiation skills, ensuring you maximise revenues across the portfolio

• You will already have good relationships with agencies and achieve a minimum of 5 external meetings per week, as well as becoming a real ambassador for Immediate Media

• You must maintain accurate up-to-date-records and complete necessary administration within required time frame, including team sheets

• You will be required to achieve individual objectives and KPI’s set as a result of appraisals/mid-term reviews

Qualifications for this position:

• A strong digital background is essential

• Proven agency relationships at all levels

• Experience of selling partnerships - including display, online and creative solutions and added value opportunities

• Strong face-to-face sales experience, including preparing sales material and presenting it within various forums

• Understanding of industry research and the ability to make use of data to construct a sales argument.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven track record of developing and growing relationships with agencies, colleagues and team members

• Great time management skills, you must be a self-starter, able to manage your workload and deliver a consistent performance
