Operational and Office Manager D-Ford
D-Ford is a new Design Lab which Ford has set up across 5 global locations. It has its own independent space and is filled with a diversity of creative and innovation talent charged with tackling significant design challenges.

We are looking for an Operational and Office Manager to oversee the London Lab, creating and maintaining a dynamic working environment, and producing events and experiences which set the culture and enhance the engagement of the team. Specifically:
+ Act as a front-of-house cultural ambassador, creating environments, events, and interactions that foster learning and promote the lab’s values, behaviors, and ways of working.
+ Create an excellent, welcoming visitor experience for D-Ford
+ Design and execute team and community building, including regular team rituals, inspirational events, guest speakers, and offsite activities.
+ Daily upkeep of the studio space to ensure Lab members are able to focus on their roles - and act as main point of contact for any maintenance providers
+ Manage administrative and organizational tasks including scheduling team meetings, scheduling customer/executive visits, and managing studio supplies
+ Develop and execute ideas for lab-wide team and community building, including inspirational events, guest speakers, employee appreciation events, and offsite planning and activities.
+ Collaborate with lab leadership to help organize, prioritize, and execute community objectives.
+ Work with talent to ensure our candidates have a great recruiting and onboarding experience.
+ Partner with Lab Communications Lead to ensure a drumbeat of events to keep the lab aware of key events and activities, and set the right tone through communications.
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
+ 5+ years’ experience in project coordination, operations, office management, or executive administrative role.
+ Experience of helping to create dynamic, creative environments.
+ Experience in education/coaching, psychology, counseling, hospitality, organisational design,
operations, office management, talent or learning and development.
+ Experience of working with design teams or other creative cultures.
+ Passionate about people and team culture.
+ Extremely well organised.
