Are you a communications specialist with strong experience across the communications disciplines? Do you want to apply your expertise to some of the most important issues facing the UK and play a direct role in shaping the country’s future?
We are looking to recruit an exceptional and innovative strategic communications officer who
understands that successful campaigns are built on the right data, deep understanding of audience needs and business objectives, and timely support from the right people.
You will join the Home Office Communications Directorate and be primarily focused on designing and implementing communications to support the UK’s future relationship with the European Union and wider world, including any changes following the UK’s withdrawal from the European Union.
You may also have the opportunity to work on and shape activity across other Home Office policy areas.
Successful candidates will display a blend of political insight and intelligence, strategic clarity of thinking and hold good influencing and collaboration skills. You will be expected to forge strong relationships with senior officials and colleagues across government, as well as a range of partners and external stakeholders.
You will be expected to support the development, planning and implementation of communications strategies that deliver measurable change.
