Media Sales Executive (Print, Online, Web Content, Events, Sponsorship)

Being a privately owned Company (the 2 Directors/owners are very involved in the business) means they can be very reactive to changes in the market, and spot opportunities for expansion and new business areas.
You will be joining their market their portfolio of leading technology products and will work with the sales manager, journalists and events staff to maximise revenues across these brands.
This will include selling advertising online, website content, events sponsorship and much more. They are looking for someone with some proven sales experience, and ideally educated to degree level or equivalent. A knowledge of technology would be an advantage; but mainly some track record in sales. Commission is 3.5% of sales and is uncapped!
This is an involved role, where as well as selling packages to Clients, you will be involved in managing these projects to ensure they are delivered to a high quality. This will include liaison with other departments and over time third party supplier organisations.
A good call rate and also face-to-face meeting skills are important, as well as a determined attitude to succeed.
